Tottenham have been drawn against League One Portsmouth in the third round of the 2022/23 FA Cup.
Spurs lost to Middlesbrough in the fifth round last season, falling to a 1-0 defeat in extra time at the Riverside. Spurs have won the FA Cup eight times in their history but haven't lifted the trophy since 1991.
Third-round ties, including Tottenham's at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, will take place over the weekend of Saturday 7 January, 2023.

Spurs have not come up against Pompey in a competitive fixture since the FA Cup semi-final of 2009/10, where they suffered a 2-0 defeat after extra time at Wembley Stadium.
There remains a question about the eligibility of Dane Scarlett and if he will be allowed to feature in the tie, as he is a Spurs player currently on loan at Fratton Park.
