Micah Richards believes Tottenham could have 'something special' in Ange Postecoglou.
The English Premier League side confirmed the appointment of the former Celtic boss yesterday as Antonio Conte's permanent successor after a search that took months for Daniel Levy to complete. The 57-year-old has put pen to paper on a four-year deal in North London and will officially join on July 1.
Spurs' gain is Celtic's huge loss after he signed off from Glasgow on the ultimate high by lifting the Scottish Cup at Hampden to complete a historic Treble and make it five trophies in six. His recruitment has also been virtually spot on since his arrived in Scotland with the likes of Kyogo Furuhashi, Reo Hatate, Matt O'Riley, Jota, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Liel Abada all proving shrewd business.

Another key signing early on was the capture of former England international Joe Hart. He's been massive for the Hoops over his two seasons at the club with Sky Sports pundit Richards talking to the veteran No1 about his now old boss and reckons his personality mixed with tactical approach could prove to be the ticket for Tottenham.
He said: “When I spoke with Joe about his relationship with him, he’d had a meeting with the manager and said, ‘I just need a little bit of love and I will give you absolutely everything’.
“Of course there’s the tactical side, but marry them together, they could have something special.
“If you look at his record, wherever he has been, he’s always been successful.
“I listened to his interview just a few days ago and he was talking about the Celtic fans and the admiration he had for them because when he got appointed a lot of people laughed, but it was the fans that stuck with him and that’s really important.”
