Tottenham have allowed Giovani Lo Celso to join Villarreal on loan for the rest of the season.
The Argentine was one of a few players to depart Spurs on a temporary basis during a frantic final day of the January transfer window alongside Bryan Gil and Tanguy Ndombele.
Elsewhere, Antonio Conte was afforded some new recruits following the permanent signing of Juventus midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur and the loan arrival of teammate Dejan Kulusevski.
Lo Celso joined Spurs in the summer of 2019 on an initial loan from Real Betis and signed a five-year contract in January 2020.
In total, the Argentina international made 84 appearances for Spurs, during which he scored eight goals and registered a further six assists.
Now, he will link up with former Arsenal manager Unai Emery amid their push for European qualification. Currently sat seventh in La Liga, they are two points off of Real Sociedad in the final Europa League berth.
