Tottenham have finally confirmed their full list of shirt numbers for the 2022/23 campaign on the eve of the brand new Premier League season. Announcing numbers for new signings ahead of the pre-season tour of South Korea and then prior to the Rangers friendly, the club reiterated that a full finalised list would be confirmed once they had submitted their final squad list to the Premier League prior to the opening weekend of the 2022/23 season.
Tottenham had announced shirt numbers for five of the club's six summer signings, with Yves Bissouma down to wear No.38 in pre-season before his squad number was officially confirmed. Well, the ex-Brighton & Hove Albion man will stick with the No.38 for Spurs following his move from the south coast club, with Harry Winks still occupying the No.8 shirt Bissouma wore at his former club.
As previously announced, Richarlison is the club's new No.9 after joining from Everton, Fraser Forster will wear No.20, Djed Spence No.24 and Clement Lenglet No.34. Ivan Perisic was initially down to wear No.22 for the Lilywhites in pre-season but in the end inherited his favourite No.14 jersey from Joe Rodon ahead of the Rangers encounter.
