Antonio Conte is clear in his ambitions to bring players in during the January transfer market as Tottenham hope to secure Champions League football next year.
The Italian manager has openly declared that he wants to bring in players this month, with a host of names being linked to the club.
Spurs are just two points behind Manchester United and the fourth-place spot, crucially holding two games in hand.
Whilst no business has been conducted as of yet, transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has stated that he expects Spurs to bring in two players in this window.
One name who has been consistently linked with the club is Adama Traore and Romano claims the club are confident in finalising his signing.
Romano said: "Tottenham are prepared to push on Adama Traore deal starting from today. Talks will re-start with Wolves to enter into final details & reach the agreement. Club confident to complete the new signing."
Sky Sports later added that the fee is expected to be around £20 million.
Elsewhere, Italian outlet Calciomercato have reported that Spurs have agreed a deal with Franck Kessie's representatives to bring the Ivorian to the club this summer.
Kessie is set to become a free agent this summer after failing to agree a new deal with AC Milan and a number of European clubs are reportedly keen to bring him in.
However, reports suggest that Spurs have won the race to sign Kessie, with midfielders Giovani Lo Celso, Dele Alli and Tanguy Ndombele having been made available for transfer.
Finally, 90min have reported that two of those three midfielders made available by Conte - Alli and Ndombele, could be used in a swap deal with PSG.
