Tottenham will start their 2022/23 Champions League group stage campaign at home against Marseille. Drawn in Group D in Thursday's draw in Istanbul, Turkey, the Lilywhites will also face Sporting Club and Eintracht Frankfurt in the group.
Fresh from discovering their Champions League opponents, Spurs actually won't have to wait long at all for their first group game of the competition. Matchday 1 gets underway week commencing Monday, September 5, with Spurs in action two days later against Marseille at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Playing their following game a week later, matchdays 3, 4 and 5 all take place in October with a condensed schedule this season due to the World Cup starting midway through November. Spurs' final group game comes on November 1 against Marseille.
