Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou and Harry Kane plan to talk once the striker returns from his holiday, football.london understands.
The 29-year-old is being heavily linked with a move to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich with the German side expected to test Spurs' resolve to keep Kane this summer despite him reaching the final 12 months of his contract. Reports in Germany claim that the England captain is open to the move with some suggestions over there that he has agreed terms in principle with Bayern.
Tottenham maintain that the striker is not for sale and that he is part of new head coach Postecoglou's plans for the season ahead.
football.london understands that the plan is currently for the Australian, who has been at the club's Hotspur Way complex this week, to speak to Kane about what lies ahead when the forward returns from his summer holiday following his England duty. Spurs' international players are expected to return to the training ground from July 12, although some could return early in a bid to impress the new boss.
The club's non-internationals will return from this Saturday onwards to work with Postecoglou and his coaching staff, which includes Chris Davies, Ryan Mason, Matt Wells, Miles Jedinak and goalkeeping coach Rob Burch.
Tottenham will be hoping that Postecoglou quickly impresses Kane with his ideas and style of attacking football, which has brought silverware throughout his past, as will the arrival of the striker's England team-mate James Maddison in a £40million transfer this week from Leicester City.

football.london understands that, with no question marks over Kane's high level of professionalism, if Bayern have not managed to tempt Spurs into any deal for their all-time goalscorer in the coming weeks, then he will head out as expected on the club's pre-season tour to Australia, Thailand and Singapore.
The summer tour will present a key opportunity for Postecoglou to hold a training camp to get his methods fully across to his players and prepare them for the relentless football to come. Son Heung-min could be given the chance to fly directly to Perth from South Korea to link up with his team-mates, rather than fly home to the UK only to face another long haul round the world flight days later.
