Ange Postecoglou is relaxed about Tottenham's disciplinary problems and says Yves Bissouma will learn from his second red card of the season at Nottingham Forest last week.
Bissouma will miss Saturday's visit of Everton and the subsequent three matches - against Brighton and Bournemouth in the League and the FA Cup third-round tie with Burnley - after being shown a straight red card in the 2-0 win at the City Ground.
It was his second dismissal of the season after picking up two bookings in the win over Luton in October, while he has also served a one-match ban for picking up five yellow cards.
Destiny Udogie is also suspended for the Toffees' visit for being shown a fifth booking at Forest, but Postecoglou does not feel the need to talk to his players about indiscipline.
"No, not really," he said. "Obviously it is something that is not great for us as it is costing us during games, it is costing us post-games. "Players are well aware of the kind of impact those things have and I'm sure they will learn from those experiences.
"My experience in football is that the best remedy for those kind of things is players missing out. If they feel they are missing out on something then it brings them into line pretty quickly. Hopefully we keep winning and the guys who miss out learn their lesson that way.
"You look at Biss and the first red card [at Luton] was just a silly one where he got a second yellow card for something silly. And last week, people can say what they want but he has just mistimed a tackle. It is not like he has gone in dirty on anyone.
"These things will happen and in today's game you won't get away with it because even if the referee doesn't see it, VAR will pick it up and he's paid the price for it. Players are well aware when they get red cards their team suffers without them whether that is in game or games subsequent.

"I have always felt the best remedy is that if a guy feels he is missing out, then that kind of helps in that process of not letting it affect their game but also understanding the impact it can have.
"At the moment we're not in that place because guys who are missing out come straight back in because we don't have the squad, but we get a strong enough squad and guys miss out, the teams keep winning, they will miss big games and all those kind of things are the best remedy.
"Always I kind of understand that they are all human beings and they will make mistakes, like all of us they are given the opportunity to learn from those mistakes."
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Oliver Skipp are competing to replace Bissouma at No.6 against Sean Dyche's in-form side, although Postecoglou has Giovani Lo Celso available after he missed last week's game with a muscle strain, while Ashley Phillips is also fit again after a month out with an ankle injury.
Brennan Johnson has recovered from a gashed head suffered against his former club, so Dejan Kulusevski is expected to continue at No.10 after a goal and assist at Forest - and Postecoglou believes there is more to come from the Swede.
"I think there's more to come with Deki, he's still fairly young age-wise as well," the Australian said. "I've been really pleased with him because he's played in a number of positions for us. Irrespective of the position, Deki has been a real impact player for us the whole season.
"I really like him playing inside, it gives us another dimension in terms of our attacking threats. He's such a hard worker that wherever you put him you know you're going to get some output, irrespective of the position.
"But there's more to come and he's a willing participant in that; he really works hard at his game, we've asked him to be more of a goal threat this year and he's definitely doing that, he's getting into those positions more and that shows me he still wants to improve and I'm sure he will."
