Tottenham 2023/24 away kit leaked with drastic change from current design

Tottenham look set to be veering away from the vibrant purple strip that has been their away kit this season with a fresh 'leaked' design for the 2023/24 campaign. In recent years, the club have chosen to use eye-catching kits to wear on their travels but that looks likely to be toned down this season following leaks emerging of a new grey strip.

Reddit user Gooch1575 posted the supposed away kit for next season explaining that a "store in Vancouver, [Canada] had just received the kits". The image shows dark grey as the primary colour with tinges of light blue under the arms and a darker shade for the collar.

In the 2021/22 season, Spurs received mixed reviews for their bright away kit, which seemed to resemble space with lots of bright colours slapped onto a dark background. The club did explain the reasoning behind the fresh Nike design in a statement following its release.

"No other sport captures global attention like the beautiful game and we, along with Nike, see this as an opportunity to scale more sustainable solutions in order to help protect the future of sport.

"As part of their wider Move to Zero initiative – a journey towards zero carbon and zero waste – Nike are focused in scaling the usage of lower-carbon material alternatives.

"Recycled polyester reduces carbon emissions by up to 30 per cent compared to virgin polyester and, since 2010, Nike has been using this material to produce football kits."

The new 'leaked' away kit can certainly be considered a fresh look for Spurs and it has thus far received mixed reviews from fans.
