TV host and Red Wall Tory MP Dehenna Davison may face criminal proceedings and a £5,000 fine for breaking business rules.
Her firm was struck off the official Companies House register last month after failing to respond to two warnings.
Ms Davison, 28, set up PR and communications firm DSD22 Ltd in September, 2020 and nine months later she was earning £369
each Sunday hosting The Political Correction show for the GB News channel.
Her pay for four hours there was as much as a care worker earns for 40 hours in her Bishop Auckland constituency in Co Durham.
At the height of Covid Ms Davison described care workers as among the “unsung heroes” of the pandemic.
