A TORY minister has taken aim at The National in a late-night tweet.
Everyone has one of those nights every now and then when they endlessly surf through Twitter rather than getting some sleep and it seems Tory MP Richard Holden is no different.
He took issue with Monday’s paper which led with the headline: “Support for the FM amid calls for her to go.”
At 2.25am this Valentine’s Day, Holden tweeted: “The weakest headline in support I’ve ever seen in #SNPravda.
The weakest headline in support I’ve ever seen in #SNPravda Who speaks for 🏴? Increasingly @ScotTories @Douglas4Moray as part of our broad @conservatives family led by @RishiSunak https://t.co/8GRCR2Ogh6

“Who speaks for Scotland? Increasingly @ScotTories @Douglas4Moray as part of our broad @conservatives family led by @RishiSunak.”
The Jouker has had some late nights but it’s hard to see how anyone could truly believe the Conservative “family” is doing a grand job in Scotland no matter what time it is.
The MP, who currently works in the Department for Transport, would surely be better off focusing on his own party given the polls haven’t exactly been kind to them recently.
Perhaps the fact that scandal after scandal has hit the Conservative Party in recent months is what was keeping Holden awake at such a late hour.
Then again, a Tory not making much sense is pretty much par for the course these days.
