Tory Education Minister Andrea Jenkyns has defended giving a group of voters the finger before Boris Johnson's resignation speech.
Branding the group - a combination of tourists and protesters - a "baying mob", she said she had made the gesture after coming to the "end of my tether."
Leaving Downing Street after the speech, she was heard to berate those gathered at the gates, shouting "he who laughs last laughs loudest. Wait and see, wait and see."
