Former Cabinet minister Ken Clarke savaged the Government’s flagship Rwanda Bill and predicted the deportation plan would be blocked by the Supreme Court.

Lord Clarke, who served as Chancellor, Home Secretary and Justice Secretary, tore into the controversial legislation as it was being debated in the Lords.
