Toronto’s Whit Merrifield hit one of the weirdest/coolest home runs against the Yankees

I’ve been watching baseball for a long time and just when I think I’ve seen it all something crazy happens that makes me shake my head and say out loud to me dog – how in the world did that just happen?!

That happened last week when I saw a minor league baseball player hit the strangest fair ball that stuck in the dirt a few feet in front of home plate.

And it happened again on Sunday when I saw Blue Jays right fielder Whit Merrifield hit a home run against the Yankees that bounced on the top of the wall not once, but twice.

Seriously, this was nuts:

A double bouncer off the top of the wall! How does that even happen!?

Twitter had reactions.
