On Wednesday, a family in Fort Myers, Florida, experienced a terrifying ordeal when a tornado tore off the roof of their house. The incident occurred as Hurricane Milton unleashed several tornadoes, along with heavy rain and thunderstorms, causing chaos along the coast.
Robert Haight, who was inside the house with his pregnant wife, recounted the harrowing experience of seeing the tornado approaching and quickly moving to seek shelter in the hallway. As the tornado struck, Haight described the intense force that ripped off the roof, leaving the interior of the house exposed and strewn with debris.
