Tori Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott have split after 18 years together.
The couple, who have five children, are now "starting a new journey" as they prepare to divorce.
Taking to Instagram with an emotional statement, Dean said: "It’s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own.
"We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time.
"We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this. Thank you all for your support and kindness."
Tori has yet to comment on the split but the former couple celebrated their daughter Stella's 15th birthday together at The Beverly Hilton hotel together this week.
The couple, who got married in 2006 and renewed their vows in 2010, have had a rocky marriage.
Back in 2014, Dean admitted he cheated on his wife, saying he was "out of control" and "sex was an escape".
On their reality series, True Tori, Dean confessed that he cheated on the actress before checking into a treatment facility for sex addiction.
He said at the time: "That's my worst nightmare, I cheated on my wife. I was out of control. Sex was an escape, just like drugs and alcohol."
Tori responded: "I can never give him enough sex. He's never going to be happy with just me."
The split comes at a difficult time for Tori as last month she revealed her children were in hospital in an urgent care unit after being exposed to an "extreme" health hazard.
The 49-year-old actress said her two youngest children - Beau, six, and Finn, 10, - had been experiencing a "continual spiral of sickness for months".
Taking to Instagram, Tori revealed her kids have been experiencing respiratory infections, exhaustion, dizziness, allergy-like symptoms and skin rashes.
"Here we are again at Urgent Care," she wrote as she shared a picture of herself wearing a face mask while waiting to see a doctor.
She added: "Used to think… well that's what happens when you have young kids in school. They just continually bring sicknesses home.
"But, when it gets to the point where they are at home sick more than being in school we had to reassess what was going on."
Tori explained how the family struggled to find out what was causing the sickness, before discovering mould in their home.
"The pieces all started to fall into place," she continued. "Has anyone ever been thru Mold Infections? You just keep getting sick, one infection after another.
"Respiratory infections. Extreme allergy like symptoms too and like my poor Finn skin rashes as well.
"As we sit here today in Urgent Care … watching everyone getting swabbed and first up Finn with Strep throat and high fever of 103."
Since discovering the mould, their home has been labelled a health hazard and they've been advised to "vacate the home asap".
Tori admitted: "It's hard to just uproot a huge family especially in midst of all feeling so sick and in bed."
She said they've been forced to look at hotels while they assess what to do.
Finishing her post, Tori warned fans that household mould is more common than they might think: "The deeper dive I do online sadly I see how common this is."
