Tori Kelly, the talented singer-songwriter, has recently opened up about her health scare and how it influenced her new music. In a recent interview with PEOPLE at the Recording Academy Honors, the 31-year-old artist revealed that she wrote an inspirational single called 'High Water' as a late addition to her upcoming album after her hospitalization in 2023 for blood clots.
Last year, Kelly experienced a frightening incident when she fainted while out for dinner with friends in Los Angeles. She was rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered blood clots around her lungs and legs. Reflecting on the experience, she shared in an October interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show that it was a crazy and scary ordeal, but she found solace in the support of her family and the care she received from her doctors. Thankfully, the condition is now manageable, and Kelly has recovered well.
