Topps have replaced Panini as the official producers of sticker albums for the European Championship.

The Fanatics-owned American company announced on Wednesday that they had agreed a deal with Uefa to become an official licensed partner of men’s Euro 2024, which will be hosted by Germany.

Such an agreement will see Topps produce the official sticker album for the tournament in addition to other collections, with a helping hand from ambassador and Roma boss Jose Mourinho.

That will end Panini’s long run of producing Euros sticker albums, with the Italians having done so for every tournament since 1976.

However, ESPN report than Panini - who also produce the official annual Premier League sticker collection - will continue their partnership with Fifa for this year’s World Cup in Qatar.

“We are proud to announce our partnership with Uefa as an official licensed partner of UEFA EURO 2024™,” Topps tweeted via their UK account.

“With the help of #TheSpecialOne Jose Mourinho as our sticker manager, who will select the players that will be included in the sticker album and Topps collections.”

Mark Catlin, Topps’ general manager of international sports and entertainment said: “The European Championship is the biggest and most prestigious football event on a national level in Europe.

“[They boast a] legacy when it comes to stickers, trading cards and collectables. This partnership is a huge step, [with] more to come on our road to Euro 2024 and beyond.”
