Nobody wants to think about Mike Evans playing in any other uniform than a Tampa Bay Buccaneers one.
But even if Evans returns to the Bucs on a new contract extension, that might not keep the team from looking to add another talented pass-catcher in the early rounds of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Evans will turn 31 this season, and Chris Godwin is heading into the final year of his current contract. Trey Palmer showed flashes of brilliance as a rookie last season, but this year’s draft class is loaded with blue-chip receivers, and the Bucs would be wise to dip into that group.
