Top UK chip shop to close for additional day as 'serious' rising costs take toll

One of the UK's best fish and chip shops is to close for an additional day each week in a bid to curb rising costs.

The Plaice to Be boss Joe Goudie admitted that challenges facing the industry led to the decision to remain closed on Tuesdays.

The move means the Kilmarnock chippy will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
