The top stresses when it comes to preparing to go on holiday include getting to the airport on time (57%) – and having to carry heavy luggage (26%), according to a study.
A poll of 2,000 holidaymakers found that it takes them an average of 2.8 hours to pack for a trip, with the average traveller starting five days before their trip.
But some will start as far as two weeks in advance – and end up packing a combined total of 27.6kg in their checked baggage and hand luggage.
