It’s going to be hard for the Chicago Bears first overall pick Caleb Williams to match the hype that has been set aside for him. Being labeled as one of the most gifted quarterbacks to come out of the draft in nearly a decade brings heavy expectations given he is in one of the best situations we have seen for just about any rookie quarterback. On Saturday we got to see a brief glimpse of Williams in his first preseason game, and he wowed in limited action.
This is NOT an easy throw…Caleb Williams makes it look effortless pic.twitter.com/Www17vbD2s

The biggest moment for Williams was an impressive play where he ran away from pressure and casually threw an unreal dart to the sideline on the move. There are only so many quarterbacks in the league who can make that throw and he did so effortlessly. This bodes well for that kind of play to happen consistently for the Bears new playmaker at quarterback.
Williams ultimately finished the night completing four of seven passes for 97 yards and added a 13-yard rush on the ground. A solid night for the future of the Chicago Bears.
