Top Ohio RB Recruit Commits to Michigan Over Ohio State

Michigan has gotten the best of Ohio State on the gridiron in the last two years and now the Wolverines have secured a win on the recruiting trail in the Buckeye State.

Jordan Marshall, a four-star running back recruit from Cincinnati, committed to Michigan over Ohio State on Tuesday evening. The Buckeyes, along with Wisconsin and Tennessee, were a part of Marshall’s top four, but ultimately, the Archbishop Moeller ballcarrier decided to join Jim Harbaugh in Ann Arbor.

“First of all, I just want to thank my mom and dad, family, friends, and the Moeller Community For supporting me,” Marshall wrote on Twitter. “With that being said…I Will be Committing to the University of Michigan. #GoBlue.”

Marshall, a 5-foot-11, 195-pound running back is the third class of 2024 prospect from Ohio to commit to Michigan, joining offensive tackle Luke Hamilton and defensive tackle Ted Hammond. As a junior this past season, Marshall rushed for 1,951 yards and 30 touchdowns in addition to catching 19 passes for 364 yards and four more scores on his way to being named Gatorade Player of the Year in Ohio.
