- The special court considering the bail application of CPI(M) councillor P.R. Aravindakshan and CK Jils, the third and fourth accused in the Karuvannur Service Cooperative loan scam case booked by the Enforcement Directorate, is set to pronounce its order today.
- A petition filed by a Kolkata based company and others seeking a directive to the Kerala Transport Development Finance Corporation (KTDFC) to return their matured fixed deposits is likely to come up before the Kerala High Court today. KTDC in an affidavit has said that the financial crisis faced by it is due to loans extended to KSRTC for restructuring its debt liability.
- Former Union Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar will attend an event in memory of the late Leftist thinker M.N. Vijayan in Kozhikode today.
- The first project vessel that docked at the under-construction Vizhinjam International Seaport is likely to leave for China today after completing the unloading of the cranes for the port.
- BJP state president K.Surendran and five other accused are likely to report to the district sessions court, Kasaragod today in connection with the Manjeswaram election bribery case. The court had directed the accused to be present today when their discharge petition in the case comes up for hearing. The charge against the accused is that they had bribed the BSP candidate Sundara to withdraw his nomination to the Manjeswaram seat in the 2021 Assembly election.
