In Indian humidity, particularly in coastal cities like Mumbai or Chennai where relative humidity sits above 70 percent through most of the year, that window shrinks. Heat accelerates the volatilization of the lightest aromatic molecules. You spray, you smell bergamot or lemon for ten minutes, and then it's gone.
