The event today (August 5) is a tribute to beers and breweries from across the globe round the world giving ale enthusiasts the chance to sample a range of varieties.

Apostel Weissbier Hell Keg, pioneered by 17th century monks, is a typically German naturally cloudy wheat beer first brewed in Worms in 1679 - and it’s still going strong today. Fruity and sparkling, it gives a light malt sweetness and regional malts for richness and has a wonderful amber appearance. Brewer Eichbaum is particularly proud of its brewed ale yeast, which gives a very pleasant and unique identity to this Weissbier.
