Netflix has confirmed the release date of Top Boy season three and unveiled a brand-new trailer. The Summerhouse gang are set to return for the final season of the gritty crime drama later this year.
The series will centre on drug dealers Dushane (Ashley Walters), Sully (Kane Robinson) and the rest of the gang as they continue their pursuit of money and power in the fictional Summerhouse estate in the London Borough of Hackney.
“If we’re not monsters, we’re food, and I could never be food,” Sully says in the new trailer.

Top Boy – which is executive produced by Canadian rapper Drake – has proved a big hit for the streaming giant since it was revived by the platform in 2019. Its previous season spent three weeks in Netflix’s global top 10 with more than 68m hours viewed.
It reached the top 10 in 52 countries and was Netflix’s most popular show in the UK following its March 2022 premiere. When the series was renewed last year, Walters and Robinson issued a joint statement to Netflix saying they would remain faithful to their characters until the show’s end.

“For those that have followed the journey from the start, you will know how much this show means to everyone on our team, and we wholeheartedly know how much it means to you,” they wrote. “These characters have been a part of our lives for over a decade now, and without everyone’s support we couldn’t have come this far.
“We’re very excited about what’s next and thank you for riding with us. We appreciate you. See you again soon.”
Other returning stars include Simbi Ajikawo, Jasmine Jobson, Saffron Hocking and Araloyin Oshunremi. Oscar-nominated Irish actors Barry Keoghan and Brian Gleeson have joined the cast for the upcoming series.
Netflix has confirmed season three of Top Boy will drop in September, with an exact launch date to be confirmed.
