As travelers, we often have to grapple with various concerns when planning our trips. From choosing the right accommodation to ensuring smooth transportation, there's a lot to consider. However, one issue that has become increasingly prevalent in recent years is the dreaded bedbug problem. These bloodsucking insects have infested hotels in many cities, causing distress for guests. If you're worried about encountering them during your travels, it may be useful to know which cities have the highest bedbug infestations.
According to pest control company Orkin, Chicago takes the top spot for the most bedbug cases in the United States. This is followed closely by New York and Philadelphia, maintaining their positions from previous years. It's worth noting that this is the fourth consecutive year that Chicago has held this unfavorable distinction. While it may be disheartening to hear, it's essential to stay informed and take precautions to protect yourself.
