A new study has revealed the most in-demand locations with house buyers around Scotland. With ten towns picked out as the most desirable, Uddingston has emerged as the most in-demand area.
The property experts at GetAgent conducted the research, which involved combining global searches for "house for sale in [location]" with the number of properties currently available for sale according to Rightmove, to find the locations that are most in-demand right now.
The South Lanarkshire town ranks incredibly highly in the data as a lusted-after location with a massive score of 82%. Known as the home to Tunnock’s factory - famous for its tea cakes and caramel wafers, the factory is open to visitors but is often fully booked for tours up to a year in advance.
