Are you a true Nottinghamian? If you are then you will be familiar with the city's dialect - or will you?
If you're new to Nottingham you'll certainly be confused by some of the local words. Nostalgic Twitter account Ron Manager Remembers Nottingham is educating social media followers by collating the top ten of Nottingham words in a post that has had more than 40,000 views.
Here's the list - how many do you know? Even people who have lived in Nottingham all their life said they didn't know the meaning of some of them.

1. Cob - a bread roll
2. Æy up - (a mish mash of Ay and Ey to please the 'warring factions') - hello
3. Sucker - ice lolly
4. Rammel - mess
5. Mardy - moody
6. Me duck - an affectionate name
7. Croggy - giving someone a ride on the cross bar of your bike
8. Knobbies - (or Knobby Greens) Brussels sprouts
9. Yorn - yours
10. Tuffies - sweets
Twitter user @Slithering93 responded: "I'm born and bred Nottingham, never used me duck ever." Meriel Johnston commented: "Lived in Notts pretty much my whole life but 4 and 10 mean nothing to me?!"
@atlastablonde commented: "Rammel. Just seeing that word and I’m hearing Mam saying ''shift that rammel!'" Steph Godfrey replied: "I’m so pleased to see tuffies on here. When I say it up here in the frozen North I get strange looks."
The exclusion of twitchel (narrow alleyway) from the top ten caused some consternation. Craig Biddlestone said: "Can I please add for consideration 'twitchell', because these weird northern folk call it a ginnel or a snicket."
Meanwhile, Nottingham singer-songwriter Tom Wardle said: "You’ve not adhered to correct Nottinghamian grammar, in which words traditional thought to end with the letter 'y' are in fact spelt 'eh'. For example, 'croggeh'."
