"Too many strong beers" John Fury speaks out after Tyson Fury's taxi driver altercation on holiday

Tyson Fury and father John Fury have been enjoying their chance to relax after Tyson's win over Dillian Whyte at Wembley stadium last month. Nearly four weeks have passed since the triumph but the pair appear to have their celebrations still in full swing after the victory, being pictured drinking 'strong' French beer as well as being involved in an apparent altercation with a taxi driver.

The family have been enjoying the fruits of Tyson's labour, with the heavyweight champion having earned a staggering £26.2 million for his fight against Whyte. The family are enjoying their time on an £18,000 per night yacht in the French city of Cannes, where the famous film festival is currently taking place.

The Fury family appear to have limited interest in that, however, and seem more interested in other aspects of the local culture, particularly the notoriously strong continental lager. Whilst out on their morning jog, the champ admitted that their jog was due to a heavy night, he said: "Nice run this morning with dad through the city, sweat them few sherbets out, strong beer though weren't it,"

John added: "Back at it, too many we had last night, strong beer, the strongest I've had,". Tyson was also pictured during his holiday in a video having a disagreement with a taxi driver, who appeared to deny the unbeaten world champion a ride in his cab, with the self-styled 'Gypsy King' kicking out at the cab as he drove away.

The scenes are reminiscent of a previous visit to the south of France for the Fury clan, where Tyson reportedly bought 200 Jagerbombs for England fans in Marseille during Euro 2016. This was during Fury's time away from the sport and it is still clear that he enjoys a party, while his morning jog could suggest that he is keeping himself in trim for a unification bout, potentially in December this year.
