Partick Thistle have confirmed that Tony Weston has returned to Rangers with immediate effect.

The 19-year-old forward arrived on loan from the Ibrox outfit in July, making his debut a day after signing against Kilmarnock in the Premier Sports Cup.

Weston has featured 18 times in Thistle colours with 17 of those coming off the bench. He scored one goal during his time at the club, the third in a 3-0 win over Kelty Hearts at Firhill in the Scottish Cup.
