Here are the latest rugby headlines on Saturday, May 27.
Six Nations star in custody
France rugby star Mohamed Haouas has been detained by police for an alleged domestic abuse incident, his lawyer has confirmed.
The prop will remain in police custody until tomorrow when he will be brought before a Judge in Montpellier.
His lawyer Marc Gallix confirmed the situation to AFP following a story in French newspaper L'Equipe.
Haouas was a member of France's Six Nations squad earlier this season but was sent off for headbutting on his only appearance against Scotland and was banned for the rest of the tournament.
In a separate case, Haouas will discover his fate in criminal court on June 30 for his alleged role in a brawl in which he and his friends are accused of attacking like “a pack of wolves”.
Haouas, 29, has been on trial in Montpellier, along with five friends, over the incident from his youth 10 years ago.
He faces charges of "aggravated violence" and "destruction of property of others" following the incident on New Year’s Day, 2014.
Two arrested after Premiership final incident
Just Stop Oil protesters forced a stoppage in play during Saturday's Gallagher Premiership final at Twickenham.
Two men invaded the pitch midway through the first half of the match between Saracens and Sale, throwing orange paint powder on to the field. You can see the incident here.
Twickenham Stadium later confirmed two men had been arrested and that the incident is now a police matter.
Fans jeered the duo before cheering as stewards escorted them from the stadium.
Orange powder remained on the field as the match resumed.
A statement from Twickenham Stadium read: "Twickenham Stadium can confirm two people have been arrested and this is now a police matter.
"We would like to thank our stewarding team who acted decisively and swiftly."
Wales star wins silverware
Nick Tompkins will arrive at Wales' extended Rugby World Cup training squad as an English Premiership champion.
The centre played a crucial role in Saracens' 35-25 victory over Sale Sharks in the Gallagher Premiership final at Twickenham on Saturday.
A penalty try along with scores from Max Malins, Elliot Daly, and Ivan van Zyl got Saracens over the line against a spirited Sale side.
This was the sixth time Saracens have been crowned English champions, and the first since returning to the top-flight following their relegation for breaching the salary cap.
Tompkins was outstanding throughout with his incisive running, crisp passing, and accurate defensive reads cementing his place as Saracens' unsung hero.
The 27 times capped international will join Warren Gatland's squad in the next couple of weeks ahead of their first pre-World Cup training camp in Switzerland.
