A brand new, late-night cocktail bar has opened its doors this weekend in a prime spot in Bristol's city centre. Tonight Josephine has taken over the basement venue on Baldwin Street with a capacity of 320 guests - the bar chain's biggest venue to date.
The Nightcap-owned bar chain, which already has three sites in London and one in both Birmingham and Cardiff, is known across the country for its pink, glitsy interiors and neon signs. It was awarded a licence in April. The group owns a portfolio of venues and has recently opened The Cocktail Club and Blame Gloria in Bristol this year.
Its pink sign 'Well Behaved Woman Don't Make History' is well known and has been posted on social media, making it a popular Instagramable spot in London for several years. The Bristol bar has the words 'This Ain't My First Rodeo' light up in neon lights.
