People across the North East should prepare themselves for the arrival of thick clouds and rain.
Tuesday is expected to be a breezy day with warm sunny spells. Temperatures will rise to 19° in Newcastle and a maximum temperature of 21 °C in other parts of the region.
Sunshine is set to make a brief appearance at around noon and will be replaced during the afternoon by thick clouds. Rain may occur into the evening and the early hours of Wednesday morning.
