The Tommy Tiernan Show returned to RTE One on Saturday night with a number of 'mystery guests' joining the comedian for an interview.
Campaigner Rebecca Tallon de Haviland, author and activist Matthew Collins and fellow comedian Dara Ó Briain were last night's line-up.
Viewers soon let their thoughts be known when Dara Ó Briain popped up on screen, as the pair cracked jokes and bounced bounced off each other.

Dara, who is adopted, opened up about his journey to meet his biological parents.
He revealed the touching reason he wanted to meet his birth mother, saying it was important to let her know he was "okay".
He said: "I felt an obligation to let this person know that it worked out okay. I didn't have a void and I didn't think it was going to fulfil me, because I have a very strong relationship with my parents, as I will always refer to them."
Dara also joked that he had come up with the idea for Tommy's chat show years before he did, RSVP reports.
"I proposed this show about 20 years ago. I'm not saying you stole it but..." he laughed.
Many viewers loved their energy together, with one person writing on social media: "Love how @Tommedian and @daraobriain spark off each other. Great energy."
Another added: "Tommy and Dara - a complete and utter joy to watch.
However, some other viewers pointed out that Dara was talking fast and jumping from topic to topic throughout the interview.
One person remarked: "Does this fella ever pause for breath? I'm exhausted just listening to him.
Another said: "Is there a mechanism on tv’s for slow motion play? Dara O Briain talks SO fast and I’ve never noticed its this fast before!"
A third wrote: "I love Dara but he's especially hyper and incoherent tonight. The stand-up show was fantastic, nothing like this."
Someone else said: "Dara o brien talks at a ridiculous speed."
