Tommy Fury has been warned Jake Paul has legitimate knockout power ahead of their potential fight.
Paul and Fury were scheduled to meet last December, but Fury pulled out just two weeks before the fight after suffering a broken rib and bacterial infection. The Love Island star has since improved to 8-0 in the hopes of rescheduling a bout with Paul.
Following Fury's withdrawal, Paul faced Tyron Woodley in a rematch after outpointing the ex-UFC champion earlier that year. Paul picked up his fifth professional win by way of a brutal knockout against Woodley and will fight for the first time this year on August 13.
Fury has now been told by top UFC heavyweight and former training partner Tom Aspinall to be wary of Paul's legitimate boxing skills should they meet in the ring.

"What people need to remember about Tommy is that although Tommy is a boxer, he's a novice boxer. He doesn't have any world titles and he's not fighting at that kind of level," Aspinall said on The Fellas podcast.
"From what I've seen of Jake Paul, which is minimal as I've not seen too much of him, I think Tommy's got the skills to beat him but I don't think it's a pushover fight. They are trying to sell it as a pro boxer against a Disney star, but I think his skill level his way beyond that.
"He needs to be taken serious because they are actually some skills there and he's quite dangerous. His style is quite erratic and he's got some power, so I don't think it's as as smooth sailing as people might think it is. He looks great.
"The guy's got money so he'll be training with great trainers, but just because you've got money and you're training with the best people it doesn't mean you're going to be good. He's obviously got natural talent for fighting so I respect it."
Aspinall used to train with Tommy under the guidance of his uncle Peter in the early days of his fighting career. At the time, Aspinall was unsure whether he wanted to go into boxing or MMA whilst Fury was yet to make his professional debut.
The Atherton-based heavyweight is scheduled to fight Curtis Blaydes at UFC London on July 23, whilst Fury doesn't have his next fight booked. Paul is yet to announce his opponent for August 13, but Fury pressed hard after his latest win to set up a clash with the YouTube star.
