Tommy Fury says he plans to get engaged to Molly-Mae Hague soon – but he "doesn't have the time" to propose.
The boxer – who now has baby Bambi with the Love Island star – was on the panel of ITV's Loose Men today, where he was joined by Vernon Kay, Paul Sinha and Martin Kemp, to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week.
The men have taken over today's episode of Loose Women on ITV today, where they had open discussions about everything from marriage, babies, body hair and sexual intimacy, and Tommy was asked about when he planned to propose to Molly-Mae.
Speaking about if he'd get engaged soon, he said: "I’ve had it in the ear for the past two years, I think. My actual plan was to do a lot sooner but obviously, being a boxer, when you’re in a training camp you’ve got to completely shut yourself off, you want to just focus on the fight, so I can’t be going in and everywhere proposing."
Making a promise to Molly-Mae, he added: "I’m going to do it soon guys, honestly, I really am."
Now he's a father to little Bambi, whom he shares with Molly-Mae, Tommy says that gives him a even bigger reason to fight and head into the boxing ring.
"I feel as a fighter, having a baby just gives me more motivation, something to fight for when times get tough, she’s what I’m fighting for now so it’s definitely spurred me on," he shared of what it's like having his own family.
Back in January 2022, Molly-Mae joked she was 'sick and tired' of being asked if Tommy proposed during their New York holiday.
Speaking in her latest YouTube video, she said: "I'm getting a little bit sick and tired... no I'm joking, I'm not getting sick and tired but every single person thinks Tommy's proposing to me out here but he literally booked this trip two days ago.
"This hasn't been planned for long at all. I can promise you guys, he is not proposing to me."
In the video, he then smiles at the camera as Molly-Mae fumes at him and tells him: "Don't act like you are Tommy because we all know that you're not and everyone's gonna be like, 'oh he is!' I promise, he's not.
"I'm not saying that you won't propose at some point in the next year, but I know this trip is not the one."
