Tommy Fury strikes 'all or nothing' deal with Jake Paul ahead of grudge match in Saudi Arabia

Tommy Fury has agreed an 'all or nothing' deal with Jake Paul ahead of their grudge match in Saudi Arabia this weekend. The pair almost came to blows as they faced off at a press conference on Thursday night.

Sunday's fight is one of the most talked about and anticipated boxing matches of the year. Fury, 23 and Paul, 26 are scheduled to meet over eight rounds in Riyadh after two previously failed bookings.

Speaking at the press conference promoting the fight - which included attendees like Mike Tyson and two-time world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury - the younger Fury brother added fuel to the fire as he told Paul to look him in the eyes, saying: “You’re getting put to sleep inside four rounds.

“I’m not an old man, I’m a fresh young fighter, you should have stuck to making easy money fighting old men and celebrities because I’m coming to take your head off.”

Youtuber turned boxer Paul replied to the former Love Island star saying: “I think we make a deal then since you’re so confident.

“If you win I’ll pay you double what I’m paying you already, but if I win I take everything that I’m paying you, deal or no deal?"

He stood up to approach Fury to shake hands on the deal, but the Mancunian responded saying: “Why are you standing up like you’re going to do something, sit back down.”

John Fury, Tommy’s father and trainer, accepted the deal on behalf of his son: “You’ve got a deal, all or nothing.”

According to Sports Zion, Fury will earn $2 million (£1.6 million) and 35% of the pay-per-view share - which means in total he’ll take home $4.5 million (£3.7 million) if he beats Jake.

Moments after Tommy and Jake shook hands on the bet, they two were pulled away from each other as things began to kick off.

Ahead of being on the official press conference panel to hype the bout, Mike Tyson said his money is on Paul to win.

“It shows the market power of Jake Paul. He’s the biggest thing in boxing right now besides the heavyweights. The heavyweights are the only thing bigger than him.

“The heavyweights and probably Alvarez. None of the other guys are bigger than him, not the lightweights, not even the light heavyweights,” he said to Boxing Social.

“I’ve never seen Fury fight, I don’t think he’ll be able to beat Jake Paul. Jake Paul is getting better and better as he fights and I don’t know if they brought him over here to lose – we’re going to find out.

“Somebody is getting knocked out, somebody is going down. Someone’s 0 has got to go,” he said.

Tommy has been criticised online for being away a lot preparing for the fight while Molly-Mae was pregnant and has now spent a number of weeks away from her girlfriend and his daughter, Bambi.

But he says the fight with Jake is so big that he wasn't able to take much time off from training.

"It's such a serious fight that you can't break training camp," Tommy said. "And these are the sort of sacrifices that I've made in the lead up to this. It is what it is, what can you do? I'll make up for it when I'm home."

Speaking about Molly-Mae, 23, to the BBC's Newsbeat ahead of his fight, Tommy said: "Molly's took it upon herself to deal with everything herself. She hasn't bothered me once about anything. She's been absolutely amazing. I think people need to stand up and give her a lot of credit for that."

The next time the bitter rivals meet will be at the weigh-in ahead of the fight on Saturday morning before clashing it out in the ring Sunday.
