Tommy Fury's sweet gesture to Molly-Mae and daughter as he makes Soccer Aid debut

With so much happening around this year's Soccer Aid and its famous participants, it's easy to miss the sweet gesture Tommy Fury made to his partner and daughter.

Posting on Instagram, Molly-Mae showed the football boots which Fury is donning for tonight's match. The boxing legend's boots have both Molly-Mae's and their daughter Bambi's names painted on the side.

The pair welcomed their daughter into the world earlier this year and she has since been showered in plenty of public affection from her parents. Prior to his fight with Jake Paul in February of this year, Fury made a sweet promise that he would "be home soon".

Molly-Mae has been reciprocating the support for her husband by attending Soccer Aid live and cheering him on. Tommy, 24, is perhaps best known for his appearance on the 2019 series of Love Island, where he Molly-Mae.

Last month, Tommy spoke out about why he hasn't proposed to his partner yet. Speaking on Loose Men, a special all-male edition of Loose Women, he said: “I’ve had it in the ear for the past two years.

"My actual plan was to do it a lot sooner but obviously being a boxer, when you’re in a training camp you’ve got to completely shut yourself off, you want to just focus on the fight so I can’t be going in and everywhere proposing."

He added: "I’m going to do it soon guys, honestly, I really am.”

At this year's Soccer Aid, the World XI team will be captained by Olympic sprint champion Usain Bolt - someone who Tommy admits he might be a little bit starstruck by.

“I used to watch Usain in all the Olympics and to be playing alongside him on a football pitch will be absolutely incredible, Tommy said. “I think for the first 10 or 15 seconds I’ll be a little bit starstruck until he tells me to get in position. But I’ll try and do him proud.”

Tommy admitted he had a few footie lessons as a child but that he is “not the best footballer in the world”. However, he hopes to do his best, adding: “It’s having fun and taking part, that’s what counts and I’m sure we’ll put on a great show”.
