Tommy Fury appears to have hinted at his and Molly-Mae Hague's pregnancy news a few weeks ago when he laughed about when he 'should' have proposed to her. The smitten couple, who met on Love Island in 2019, announced that they are expecting their first child together over the weekend.
The boxer, 23, and influencer and PrettyLittleThing creative director, also 23, shared the happy news with their millions of followers on Sunday (September 25) with an adorable black and white Instagram post.
"I can't wait for the adventures that we haven't even dreamed of yet," the post was captioned, echoing Molly-Mae's words seen in the sweet video from when she and Tommy shared gushing messages of commitments to each other during the final days of their Love Island journey three years ago.
The video then went on to show a love struck Tommy planting a kiss on his girlfriend's blossoming baby bump before she looked into his eyes and shared a smile. The duo, who live in Trafford, have previously spoken about wanting children, with Tommy saying he wanted a big family.
And the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has also regularly been quizzed on when he plans to pop the question. Following the pregnancy announcement, fans have been doing some digging and a video of Tommy answering questions about an impending proposal have resurfaced in a series of post on TikTok as fans try and work out when the couple discovered their baby joy.
During an Instagram Q&A earlier this month with his 4.2million followers, one fan asked: "When is Molly getting that ring... I think it’s time." Appearing a video response, Tommy laughed before saying with a grin: "It was probably time about six months ago but it’s coming very soon."
Molly-Mae and Tommy have been flooded with congratulatory messages since sharing their happy news. Among those to show their love and support was Molly-Mae's bestie Maura Higgins, who was also an Islander in the same series of the ITV2 dating show as the parents-to-be.
As well as commenting on their post, the Irish beauty also posted a gorgeous black and white video showing Molly-Mae's joyous reaction as she met her unborn baby as she went for her scan.
The clip shared on Maura's Instagram showed an emotional Molly-Mae clap a hand over her mouth with excitement as she saw the screen. "The most precious say meeting you @mollymae & @tommyfury you are going to be amazing parents," wrote Maura. And as the former Dancing On Ice star zoomed in for a close-up of the baby, she added: "Love you so much already."
Tyson and wife Paris Fury, who are parents to six children, also shared public messages for the couple. Paris, 33, sweetly shared the couple's post on her Instagram Stories, writing: "Best news ever you guys. So happy for yous". She also commented: "Awww I've watched this 20 times and just keep watching," alongside three loved-up emojis on the pair's post. And Tyson, 34, also shared the clip and added: "So happy for you both."
Earlier this year Paris, who married her teenage sweetheart Tyson, 33, in 2008, was all smiles as she handed over to 'next leading lady' Molly-Mae following her husband's last fight as he announced his retirement. Paris posed backstage at Wembley Stadium with Molly-Mae.
"The next leading lady there @mollymae with her @tommyfury winning tonight a beauty inside and out," she wrote as she shared a snap of the pair together on her Instagram Stories. And Molly-Mae, 22, replied with a crying emoji: "My leading lady always."
