Tommy Fury took part in fundraising football match, Soccer Aid on Sunday, June 11 and ahead of the match his girlfriend Molly-Mae took to Instagram to share the adorable tribute he paid to her and their new baby daughter Bambi.
Sharing an image of Tommy's fluorescent green and teal Puma football boots, her followers saw that painted on them in white marker was the name Molly-Mae, with a love heart next to it, and Bambi next to a drawing of a face of a deer.
Captioning the image that also bore BT Sports' new name, TNT, Molly-Mae simply wrote two emojis: a white love heart and a tearing up face. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
Later on, Molly - who was cheering her boyfriend on from the sidelines - congratulated her partner's winning team, commenting on his efforts. She said alongside a video of the trophy being received and fireworks going off: "Woohooo the winning team. Deffo from Tommy's incredible contribution." She ended the caption with a Pinnocchio-esque emoji.
Soccer Aid is a charity football match played annually that was set up in 2006 by Robbie Williams to raise money for Unicef. The game sees stars and celebrities from England take on former footballers and celebrities from around the world. This year, it was held at Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester.
Molly-Mae and Tommy met on the set of the fifth series of Love Island in 2019 and soon became firm favourites. The PrettyLittleThing creative director and boxer came runners-up in the competition but that didn't stop they budding romance. Since the show, the pair have gone from strength to strength and welcomed their first child together earlier this year, a little girl who they named Bambi.
Upon announcing the name of their baby, the pair came under fire for the unusual Disney inspired name from 'nasty' trolls, forcing the new mother to turn off comments on her social media platform. Taking to her YouTube channel, the 24-year-old said that revealing her newborn daughter's name was a 'really hard day'. Read more on that here.
During Soccer Aid, which aired on ITV on Sunday, June 11, Mancunian Tommy - whose mother is of Mauritian descent - donned the World XI shirt, as opposed to England's, and played alongside icons such as Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt, who was the team's captain. The total figure raised was over £14 million and it was the World XI's team that claimed victory with a score of 4-2. You can catch up on Soccer Aid on ITVX now.
