Tommy Fury makes huge Wembley Stadium claim over Jake Paul fight

Determined Tommy Fury believes that he will follow in his brother's footsteps in the not-so-distant future - with the internet boxing star claiming he would 'sell out Wembley Stadium' against Jake Paul.

His brother Tyson, who currently holds the WBC heavyweight title after beating Deontay Wilder in 2020, has created a superb career for himself by becoming one of the greatest boxers of all-time.

That includes selling out multiple stadiums; the Manchester Arena, Staples Center and T-Mobile Arena all spring to mind, alongside Wembley Stadium. It was under the famous arches where he beat Dillian Whyte back in April, though only four fights have taken place since it opened in 2007. But against the odds, Tommy wishes to make that tally five - with the youngster believing that his upcoming fight against Paul is deserving of a sell-out crowd at the 'home of football'.

"I definitely feel like this fight will happen this time. I've said if this fight doesn't happen it'll be through no fault of my own," Fury said.

"I want this fight more than anything because it's a chance for me to put everything that I've been hearing for the past two years to bed. And it needs to be put to bed because at the end of the day this man is not in my class, he's not in my league, and he's a YouTube fighter, that's what this man is. I'm a proper fighter. I'm from a fighting family. I have aspirations of winning world titles.

"I feel like this is a Wembley fight. I feel like it could do 80,000 very comfortably. If you ask anybody walking down the street on Saturday night, do you wanna go watch Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury at Wembley, everybody's gonna say yes. I believe it's a massive pay-per-view fight."

It would be the third fight scheduled between the pair, with Fury breaking his rib during training camp halting proceedings for a first bout before being unable to get to the USA in promotion of the second scheduled fight. With the new date set for February or March, there are still doubts to the event going ahead.
