Tommy Fury has hit back at accusations from his own dad that he wasn't training for his ill-fated fight with Jake Paul.
Fury, brother of heavyweight world champion Tyson, was due to take on Paul in New York on August 6, but was unable to travel to America last week for a press conference. Paul gave his rival a week to prove he was able to fly to America before pulling the plug when he accused Fury of "hiding".
Paul will now fight Hasim Rahman Jr on the same date while Fury has been left to lick his wounds after missing out on a multi-million-pound pay day. And his dad John claimed this weekend that his son had barely been training for the bout and that he had ballooned in weight to 231lb.
