Molly-Mae Hague has explained how boyfriend Tommy Fury had to head to Tesco and wait outside at 6am after the couple spent the night attempting to settle newborn Bambi's windy stomach.
The Love Island duo welcomed baby girl Bambi at the start of the year, and since, they have shared transparent moments of parenthood.
Molly-Mae, 23, continued to open up about her first-time mum struggles on Monday as she revealed that Tommy had waited outside the supermarket ahead of opening time in a desperate bid to help Bambi, who was struggling with wind.
The new parents had not slept all night as they attempted to settle Bambi's pain, reports the Mirror.
Addressing her Instagram story, Molly-Mae posted a video of her propped up with pillows in bed whilst Bambi was nestled into her arm.
The newborn had her back patted by her doting mum and wore a white and grey bear-patterned Babygro.
Molly-Mae gave fans an insight into their long night, writing a caption on the clip where she revealed her “number one” baby product.
“Not every Monday can be productive… We’ve been up allll night,” the influencer wrote.
“Tommy was wating at the doors of Tesco when it opened this morning at 6am to get gripe water for her (which by the way is my number one top product for a newborn with trapped wind).” [sic]
In another story, she captured an image of the open bottle of Woodwards’ Gripe Water as she told fans how she uses the product.
“I used to walk past this in the shops and think ‘what an old fashioned looking product,’ now it literally saves my life. (We just dip her dummy in it and it calms her SO much,)” she wrote. [sic]
Tommy took to his own story to snap a picture of two bottles of the oral solution at 6:06am.
“Duty calls when the little one has an upset stomach,” he told fans.
Gripe water can be used to help relieve gas in babies by breaking down trapped air bubbles that cause wind when other methods of soothing like massage or tummy time haven't worked.
Gripe water is also often suggested for treating colic in babies, however, it is not licensed for this use and there is no evidence for its use in treating colic.
The NHS recommends that there are more appropriate ways to manage colic so it does not recommend gripe water.
Molly-Mae’s sleepless night came just a week after she admitted to fans she was struggling and overwhelmed by becoming a new mother and all the trials that come with it.
She stunned fans with her bravery and vulnerability as she broke down in tears in a candid video last weekend, admitting how hard the 'fourth trimester' has been for her.
