Celtic hero Tom Rogic is set to sign for West Brom, according to a report.
The Aussie playmaker has been a free agent since pulling the curtain down on a trophy-laden spell in Glasgow at the end of last season. Rogic departed Celtic Park with a final league title to his name at the end of an almost 10-year career with the club.
He's since been linked with a number of moves, including a reunion with Neil Lennon in Cyprus, as he seeks a new challenge. And now the Daily Telegraph report the 29-year-old midfielder is expected to sign a deal with the Baggies in the EFL Championship. West Brom are in their second campaign back in the second tier having been relegated from the Premier League in 2020/21 and have made a poor start to the season under Steve Bruce, currently sitting in 16th having drawn six of their eight games so far.
The Hawthorns club finished 10 last term and are looking to inject some life into their season with the seemingly imminent signing of Rogic. An Australia international, Rogic won 16 major honours at Celtic, including racking up six Premiership winners' medal.
He scored one of the most iconic goals in the club's history to sink Aberdeen in the 2016/17 Scottish Cup Final, ensuring Brendan Rodgers' side finished the season as Invincible Treble winners.
