Kelsey Parker was in the live studio audience at Dancing on Ice on Sunday evening as The Wanted star Siva Kaneswaran paid an emotional tribute to her late husband Tom.
The dad-of-two, who was only 33 when he died from an incurable brain tumour in March last year, was honoured in the semi-final as Siva skated to the band's hit Gold Forever (For Tom).
Kelsey, 32, was in the audience with children Aurelia and Bodhi, both three, as she wiped away tears at the end of the poignant performance.
Siva touched on his relationship with Tom in an emotional VT ahead of his performance, as he choked up admitting how he misses his bandmate.
Siva said: “Growing up with him was a pleasure. He always shone. I’ve been trying to find the words to figure out how I feel about him not being around. It’s really hard. Really hard. I miss him a lot.”
In a scene on the ice rink, Siva explained to the judges how personal the song choice was to him.
He said: “Tom sings the first line of the song, so obviously it’s going to be very hard hearing his voice.”
He continued: “I learned from being around Tom to use the difficulty to make something positive. He raised so much awareness of brain cancer.
“That is the most inspiring thing I've ever seen in my entire life. I want everyone to celebrate him and to understand how incredible he was.”
Dancing on Ice viewers were equally emotional at the scenes in the semi-final, as many took to Twitter to share the routine had reduced them to tears.
One wrote: “Now I'm bawling. Beautiful tribute. RIP Tom,” as a second echoed: “Bless Siva. I’m welling up!”
Meanwhile, fellow The Wanted bandmate Jay McGuiness tweeted: “The tears are flowing and we are all so proud of our boy. What a special moment, in tribute of the most special guy.”
Siva's emotional tribute came just weeks before the family will mark one year without Tom.
Kelsey previously opened up for the first time about how Siva has supported her through the ‘desperate’ loneliness she suffered after losing the love of her life.
Speaking in an exclusive interview ahead of Dancing on Ice, Kelsey told The Mirror: "I've told the kids we are going to watch Uncle Siva, that he's dancing to Daddy's song, and there are going to be pictures of Daddy around - and they are so excited.
"It is going to be really tough for me to sit there, because the song makes me so emotional. But then it's bittersweet, because I'm going to be so proud of Siva, and I want to celebrate Tom. It's nearly a year since we lost him, and he would still want to be in everyone's thoughts.
"So why wouldn't we celebrate him? But it doesn't make it any less hard. That we are going to watch someone pay tribute to Tom, dancing to his song is incredible, but it is going to break me."
