Kelsey Parker is reported to have sat down for a chat with the mum of late husband Tom after reports of a new romance.
Kelsey shocked fans after finding love with a new man just eight months after the star's death.
The Wanted singer sadly passed away in March at the age of 33 following an almost two-year battle against brain cancer, leaving behind Kelsey and kids Aurelia and Bodhi. It was reported last month that Kelsey, 32, is now dating electrician Sean Boggans, 39, following her husband's death.
Now there are reports that Kelsey has spoken with Tom's mum Noreen Parker about her future and moving on after being left feeling "all over the place". A source told The Sun that Kelsey had the difficult chat with her mother-in-law about her new romance after the couple attended a recent wedding together.
The source told the outlet: "Kelsey sat down last week with Noreen for a heart to heart about what is happening between her and Sean.
"Explaining the situation to Noreen was one of the hardest things to do because Kelsey's not even sure how she feels about it all right now. It is all very new and her emotions are naturally all over the place."
The source said Tom would want Kelsey to be happy following his death, reports the Mirror, and she'll always see her as part of her family.
“It was a very emotional conversation and there were lots of tears, but Noreen was adamant that Tom would want Kelsey to be happy. Noreen knows how much Tom means to Kelsey and her love for him will never change, but she also understands she’s a young woman who needs to find a new future for herself," the source continued.
"Ultimately that means she will find someone else to share her life with - and if that person is Sean, Noreen and the family will support Kelsey the whole way."
