Determined Tom Lawrence says the lure of winning trophies at Rangers was too good to turn down. And the new signing says he's delighted to be part of a "massive club" as he hits his peak years as a player.
The Wales winger signed up as Gio van Bronckhorst 's third summer signing after Antonio Colak followed John Souttar in the door. A free agent after leaving Derby County, Lawrence rejected various teams south of the border - including Sheffield United and Watford - to test himself in Scotland.
Reports down south claimed that the lure of European football, as well as the impressive financial offer on the table from Rangers, convinced Lawrence to snub teams in the English Championship. But Lawrence, who scored 11 goals in the English second tier last season despite Derby's relegation to League One, says it's all about the chance to win trophies at Ibrox.
