Tom Kerridge is being mocked by customers who were offered a pub crawl around his posh boozers for a whopping £1,000.
And one was so aghast at the price that they exclaimed they could book a fortnight in Malta for the same amount.
The celebrity chef has been offering couples the chance to stay at his A Hand and Flowers gastro pub for two nights.
Anyone who signs up will get a three-course meal at the boozer in upmarket Marlow, Bucks one night and dinner at another of the 48-year-old TV star's pubs down the road called The Coach.
Punters will also get breakfast both mornings and a voucher to spend at a third of his boozers in the town called the Butcher's Tap and Grill.
The three pubs are less than a mile apart on the same road, but bizarrely the offer is only available on Tuesdays.
But customers were less than impressed at the price, which is £500 per person.
One fumed: "Get two weeks in Malta for that amount of cash."
While another said: "The bloke is delusional. He is not even a good chef anymore."
A third agreed: "Quietly messing up pubs near you now."
And another added: "No wonder they are laughing."
Yet one customer felt it was actually a good price for what's included, saying: "Sounds a lot but if you read through what is included."
The promotion on The Hand and Flowers website reads: "A gastronomic getaway in Marlow.
"A two night stay for two in one of our luxury rooms with a three course a la Carte dinner at The Hand and Flowers.
"Dinner at The Coach followed by a full English breakfast both mornings to ease you back into normality.
"Also a voucher to spend at The Butcher's Tap and Grill.
"£1,000 per couple. Available on Tuesday only."
The Hand and Flowers is the world's only two Michelin star pub. Signature dishes include the Essex Lamb Bun and classic fish and chips.
The £1,000 getaway isn't the first time Tom has faced backlash over his promos.
He was slammed last month by a nurse, a single mum-of-three and a man in fuel poverty for flogging cook-at-home Valentine boxes for £185.
The telly favourite - who has appeared on Masterchef and Saturday Kitchen - was accused of cashing in on the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021 with other restaurants shut.
Last September he was mocked for charging £87 for sirloin steak with vegetables - like a side of cabbage - costing £7.50 extra at The Hand and Flowers boozer.
